Sausages and spring onions

Finally, finally got round to cooking a meal at home instead of eating out. Woke up early this morning and defrosted some sausages in the microwave, sliced up some spring onions (ねぎor蔥) and minced some garlic. Heated some oil in the frying pan, added the garlic, sausages and then the negi. Tasted and found it was a bit bland, so I added some salt. Hmm, actually I didn't taste after adding the salt, but it turned out alright.

Verdict: ok. The sweetness of the onions was good. But maybe it's just the taste of home-cooked food after so long.

The claypot, with oysters floating in it for this round. This is about two-thirds through the meal, I think.

Simple breakfast

Sometimes, I just feel like eating simply. Here's a breakfast that I had some time back. Plain rice, an egg that I cooked in the microwave, and korean seaweed. Simple, but delicious.
