Liver and spinach

Cooked chicken liver and heart with spinach today. First, sliced onion, spinach, liver and hearts. Fried the onion in a frying pan for a short while, added the liver, and after the outer surface had changed colour, added the spinach. Fried for a while longer, then turned the heat down and covered the pan. Quite a lot of water in the liver and spinach, so it was not really frying with oil per se. Used salt and pepper, no other seasoning. Verdict: so-so.
